How do I know your toys are safe?
All our toys have been tested to ensure compliance with EU safety standards and carry the CE mark.
How do I know that your cotton is organic?
All our cotton goods are certified as meeting the organic standards set by international accreditation bodies SKAL or AGRECO. We have obtained copies of each manufacturer’s certificate.
How do I care for my organic cotton clothes?
From our experience organic cotton washes extremely well, holding its shape and retaining its natural softness. To help safeguard these qualities and the environment wash your garments at as low a temperature as possible using eco-friendly washing products and line dry. Conventional cotton is usually treated with chemicals to reduce the shrinkage effects of heat. Organic cotton is not treated, so if you need to tumble dry your garments, tumble dry them on a low heat and they will be fine.
How do I know your goods are fair trade?
Where possible we source products through established fair trade associations such as BAFTS or IFAT. However, we find that the accreditation process can be very difficult for some small co-operatives in developing countries, so we spend time getting to know suppliers and only use those who adopt recognised fair trade principles.
